Mature Christian living is
not from guilt,
without the shadow of shame,
instead a buoyancy of spirit,
in kindness to myself and others,
in quiet joy --
service,
achievement,
creativity,
lasting love, and
reverence.

- Bruce Williamson promotes joyful Christian spirituality. After he got tired of complaining about negative religion - fundamentalism, he decided to be positive himself. His website, www.jesusspirituality.com grew out of his newsletter "Encouraging Laughter and Prayer." Bruce is a graduate of Baylor University. He delights in eccentric humor, and creative ways of sharing faith. His friends include a puppet named Penny, and an a frog named Sapo Guapo Del Rio (translation Handsome Frog of the River.) Some folks have wondered if this is a reference to Del Rio, Texas where Bruce grew up. His sins include excessive education (he has two master's degrees,)telling lame jokes, nearsightedness, and going bald. He expresses his thanks to folks that have encouraged his eccentric prose poems including George and Alice Watts, Rev. Ben Walker, Diane Dobbie and her brother. He developed a love for prose poems a few years ago. And expresses devotional thoughts, prayers and humor in this genre. He has pastored a series of Baptist congregations in Texas, and now serves as Senior Minister of the Alamo Heights Christian Church.

i would also like to add a few attributes of maturity:
patience with others,
careful with our words,
and able to see beyond the obvious,
but through His vantage point.
As a young man (sixty), I look forward to applying the principles you have outlined.:)
